Create Data Feed for Products and Compare Prices by Comparison Shopping Engines
Dinesh Gupta asked:
Online shoppers are increasingly using comparison shopping engines (CSEs) to compare the offerings of many merchants product side by side. Retailers often experience both technical and business issues in managing multiple data feeds. They offering automated bid management technology at the product level to optimize the product data feed. We can optimize these feeds. There are some required and some optional field for data feed optimization. The required fields are
-Product name
- Products URL
- Price of product
- Image URL
- Title and description
There also some optional fields which are
-Brand Name
-Current Price
-UPC
-ISBN
-Merchant Category
Basically price comparison search engine, focusing on computer hardware, software related products, beauty & health care products and many more. Price-comparison sites are the second most-utilized online technology today, used by 45% of respondents. Comparison-shopping was sandwiched between instant messaging and social networking as the first and third most-utilized Web applications, respectively.
Many search engines have added integrated comparison shopping and several additional features designed to simplify and expedite your online shopping experience. These search engines aims to simplify that process by allowing you to complete all of the research and comparison tasks involved with shopping on a single site.
We compare to find the best prices and then provide comparison prices and product reviews that will help you compare prices, compare products, and find the best buy at the lowest price. Price is certainly a very important one. Some search engines allow merchants to submit some (or all) of their products for free, and then charge a transaction fee for every sale done on their engine. Froogle is still offered as a beta release, so my feeling is that it’s still free, for now at least.
