You can easily spend $1600 in one day. Bloomingdale on 3rd ave and 59th Street a store where you can die and be reborn, expensive as hell, all Christian Dior, Chanel, Fendi, even if you do not buy anything go and see it, it is great, they do have some affordable things however but Macy's is cheaper. Lots of stores around Macy's on 34th, just wonder around. I do not know what brands you have in England and what would be new for you so just go everywhere you see and shop. Prices in city are appr. 5-10% more then the same store in Brooklyn for example. I prefer to shop in NJ, we have some very nice outlet malls there, like Garden Mall at Elisabeth, NJ, but I do not know how to get there from city, sorry. If you want to save on hotel, try Brooklyn hotels, but you will have to take subway to get to city. Have fun Wesley
